SKODA Auto’s strategy in the area of environmental protection is coded in a document titled Environmental Policy, which contains the company‘s basic environmental activities and objectives. In order to implement these principles, as early as 2000, the company launched an environmental management system making it a part of the company’s overall management. The system relies on the premise that each employee should adopt partial responsibility for protection of the environment.

Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (TNPL) was established by the Government of Tami Nadu during early eighties to produce Newsprint and Printing & Writing Paper using bagasse, a sugarcane residue, as primary raw material. The Company commenced production in the year 1984 with a initial capacity of 90,000 tonnes per annum (tpa). Over the years, the production capacity has been increased to 2,45,000 tpa and the Company has emerged as the largest bagasse based Paper Mill in the world consuming about one million tonnes of bagasse every year. The Company completed a Mill Expansion Plan during December 2010 to increase the mill capacity to 4,00,000 tpa.

Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), is a society set up by the Ministry of Information Technology, Government of India in 1991, with the objective of encouraging, promoting and boosting the Software Exports from India.STPI maintains internal engineering resources to provide consulting, training and implementation services. The University of West Bohemia was established by the Act of the Czech National Council No. 314/1991 Coll. in 1991 through the merger of the Institute of Technology and the Faculty of Education.
